Talking Hello

Hello Forum!

My name is Lyle Kelley. I am from southern Ohio, born and raised. I have worked for the past 30 years in manufacturing, currently as a a production engineer (CAD) for a company that produces flexographic printing presses in Cincinnati Ohio. My father is a retired tool and die maker, and has a small machine shop at home. He also builds (from scratch) muzzleloading rifles, and does hammer and chisle engraving. I used to do some engraving when I was in high school and shortly there after, but got busy working too much and quit. I would like to "re-learn" the skills, first with hammer and chisle, then eventually move up to air assist when my skills and eye for the art improve. I am currently gathering and making tools, and hope to begin practicing soon. I am greatly inspired by my father, and everyone I have seen on this and other forums. I hope someday to be able to submit my work for your critique. Thanks, Lyle.
