Default Newbie from Iowa

Hi all,
I found this site while researching scrimshaw and found some awesome stuff here. I carve and etch eggs, ranging from ostrich eggs all the way down to small fowl. I've taken a few lessons from a dear friend Carla Ute Kelly on intaglio carving. www.eggsquisit.com is her website. Summer time is a hard time for me to work my eggs as I live on a farm & there is so much to do, but wintertime is my egging time. I thought I would try to incorporate some of the information I've viewed on this site into my egg carving and see where it takes me. I love the tutorials here and everything I've seen shows such talent and creativity. Thanks for letting me join. Looking forward to viewing and talking more. K
