Default Hello everyone

Hi all, my name is Mike. I'm a farrier by trade and decided to try my hand at bit and spur making. The steel part is pretty easy for me because of my experience forging and making horseshoes. But I have no clue how to engrave anything. So here I am.

And there you are indeed
They say, what you can draw you can engrave!!!
That is such a truth!

i say, what you can transfer before you can draw, is practise.
and what you can practise before you can draw will lead you somwhere otherwise than where you want to go.So what you can draw you practise, and it will lead you onwards, until you can engrave what you would want to draw and call yourselfe an engraver.
