Default Da Cubbies

I grew up in a Cubs fan home and I do believe I bleed cubbie blue. Even though my parents moved to St. Louis, I stayed true to my Chicago roots and cheered for them every year. (Hey Ray those Cardinals looked pretty sharp this year...HAHA)

Anyway, everyone of my buddies knows I'm a Cubs fan and I get bombared with Cubbie hate mail every year about this time. This year this was sent my way.

I do admit it's pretty good.

CO CUBS!!

Yeah, I agree, that was pretty good in a sad sort of way Good Sout'sider hate mail wit' dat Sox theme song. hehe

The part about "all that money for what?" seems poignantly true after last night's debacle.

Do you think Soto does his eyebrows?? That lad's got a strange look about him.

Still, hope reigns eternal...

GO CUBS! ............... Thanks for sharing!

All this talk of Chicago makes me want some pizza! Growing up there spoiled me...there was a pizza shop on every corner. And then the gyros, hot dogs, and Polish sayssage(the phonetic pronunciation of sausage).
Do you guys know if they are going to change Macy's back to the original Marshal Fields?
Ugh...wish I was there.
Cheers!

I think spoiled is the right word, too....it's surprising how lousy pizza can be in some parts of the country.

I had Polish and kraut just this past week. That was a treat!

I don't know about Macy's name. I do know "it ain't Chicago", and never will be.

Go Bulls! :smilie5:

Uno's has a chain out here near Philly, which does not do any justice to the real deal. PA pizza is awful, but there are a few exceptions.
You guys can appreciate how crazy this sounds; when you order a sausage pizza here they use what tastes like microwaveable breakfast sausage
Maybe I should open a Chicago fast food restaurant in Philly??

It was a good game. A couple good defensive plays helped keep it close and the offense did their part, too. Very enjoyable; a good continuation of the rivalry.
