Default Hello from the high desert

Hi folks!

I'm writing from Northern Nevada.
Years ago I'd had some formal training in hand engraving and some practice, but career had gotten in the way of things. I'm getting back to the bench, with initial interest in working on borders and lettering - primarily for firearms.

The bulk of my tooling is push engravers, although I also have one of the simple GRS air engraving handpieces.

I'll be picking through the discussions here while generating questions.
Thanks for any help or input you can share.

Cheers
