Otto, I know from drilling brass and bronze that we would put a flat or negative rake on our drill bits and it would cut those metals much better.

I am assuming that this (flat) tool would be used for relieving background. The tiny (0.010???) flat would make for a very strong edge as well as lessening the tool from digging in. Am I correct?
