I haven't done any engraving, but I do some scrimshaw on antler and fossil ivory. I would like to get more involved with it and I've heard some scrimshaw artists use engraving techniques to accomplish better control on their work. This is a fascinating craft you all do, I hope I can fit in somewhere. My friends call me Doc and that's how I'll be signing my posts. I'm happy to be here and look forward to seeing who you all are!
